Drinking our own Champagne

You can't have a podcast hosting company without a podcast. So Kris, Garrett and I got together and recorded our first episode. It was glorious. Shiny new mics, a riverside recording studio and lots of laughs.

Then, we were smacked in the face with what it actually takes to ship a first episode of a podcast.

You need a title, subtitle, description, cover art, intro music, editing, leveling, bios, apple/spotify setup... the list goes on.

That said, we made it through the gauntlet and published our first episode live today. We know the first several episodes will be rough, but you gotta start somewhere.

Drinking Our Own Champagne
In this debut episode of Standing in the Fire, hosts John Nunemaker, Garrett Dimon, and Kristopher Priemer introduce themselves and share their vision for Fireside.fm, a podcast hosting and analytics platform. They discuss their motivations for launching the podcast, their backgrounds in SaaS development, marketing, and consulting, and the unique journey of transitioning from consulting to running a SaaS business.

Give it a listen and let us know what you think. And of course be sure to subscribe. We have two more in the tank that'll be out soon. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
